Lilly Lioness started making jewelry when she lost her grandmother to breast cancer in 2010. Her desire was to create meaningful wearable art pieces to encourage and support the cancer foundation. She grew her relationship with God and began expressing her artistry through jewelry. It was her therapeutic way to seek healing and to inspire others.
Lilly studied Fashion Design & Merchandising at the Art Institute In Miami where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. She thought it would be a good idea to incorporate her knowledge of art, her love for God and fashion to create unique one-of-a-kind customized paracord designer jewelry. Her passion has always been to create profound original pieces of artwork.
As an advocate for her community, Lilly uses her fashion background and industry knowledge to support and encourage students to follow their dreams. She aims to develop, grow, and nourish their skills, talents, and characters; so that they can excel in their life’s purpose. With the expectation that these young girls will do the same to give back to their community in due time. In 2018, she began volunteering at Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she served as a youth mentor for high school teen girls.
What motivated her to get involved aside from having a deep desire to serve local communities, was her mother sudden death as a teen. She offers her time to help young girls who may have experienced trauma, loss, or a similar deficit. Her testimony has helped many girls to navigate a variety of concerns in their personal lives and many of them are now serving others.
Currently, she serves as a volunteer for the Supernatural Girls powered by The Lion’s Den Missions Base; as a Youth Leader she loves the opportunity to access a platform that gives young girls time to express themselves freely in a safe place. She’s able to share her experiences, and to learn new things from the next generation, which is her idea of a win-win.
Therefore, The Truth Accessories was born; her relationship with God and her desire to serve others motivated her to create a variety of styles. Each piece is timeless and expresses its own uniqueness. The Truth Accessories host events throughout South Florida. The goal is to inspire and keep people connected to their faith through these conversational pieces of artwork. Each piece has a positive assertion, tailored to the word of God, or whatever is on your heart.
